- If a Christian can have his or her faith swayed by stepping on a piece of paper, I wonder how sincere the belief is in the first place. It seems to me that those who are outraged by this and want an apology, or whatever, are the ones trying to force their beliefs on others.

- I wish I could say "I can't believe this!" but it is all too easy to believe that prosecutors and police are out for blood. Like someone else said, if he'd caused an economic collapse, he'd be rewarded. But he's a black kid, so put him in shackles and throw away the key.

- Absolutely not. If soldiers shouldn't fight for a country that allows gays, how can these so-called Christians defend even living here?

- No one should hunt whales for any reason. It's absurd for the Japanese to claim they hunt for "research." I agree with all the others who'd like to know what they have learned from killing hundreds of whales over the years.
